About Us

The Ashfield Physiotherapy Centre was established in 1976. Being a long-standing local practice, we enjoy strong links with local GPs, specialists and other healthcare providers in the area.

Most of our clients come to us through recommendation of friends or family, but we also have a steady flow of referrals from medical specialists and general practitioners.

Our professional staff has over 15 years’ experience in Physiotherapy in Germany, Great Britain and Australia, and 10 years experience in CranioSacral Therapy in Australia and Germany.

Our individually tailored hands-on treatment and personalised attention in one-on-one sessions provide quality care.

Kristiane Heidrich German/English

Kristiane Heidrich is a German trained Physiotherapist and Massage Therapist (graduated 1990), who worked in Great Britain as a physiotherapist for several years. She is registered in Australia since 20 years and is a member of the Australian Physiotherapy Association. She expanded her anatomical and physiological knowledge in Sports Medicine, CranioSacral Therapy for adults and children, Visceral (organ) Mobilisation, Dry Needling (Acupuncture for Physiotherapist), Applied Yoga Therapy.

Kristiane is a qualified midwife since 2015, a trained birth attendant (Doula), a childbirth educator, Calmbirth practitioner and offers placenta encapsulation.

Kristiane is an Advanced CranioSacral Therapist (Diplomat Level), a certified teachers’ assistant for the Upledger Institute and the Barral Institute, and since 2011an Instructor for CranioSacral Therapy 1.

Special interests: Women’s Health (pregnancy/postpartum), mobilisation of the central and peripheral nervous system, mobilisation of deep connective tissue (fascia) and tissue around the organs of the body as well as pain management.

Kristiane is a member of the Australian Physiotherapy Association.

Gregoria McIntosh graduated in 1985.

Her preferred treatment modalities are Myofacial Release Technique (Bowen Therapy), CranioSacral Therapy, Neural & Visceral Mobilisation, Dry Needling as well as establishing Developmental Exercises for children. Special interests: Respiratory Conditions, Sports and Women's Health.

Susan Latsinos is our Practice Administrator and has been employed by the Practice for the past 32 years. As a permanent staff member Susan has had many years of experience with the administrative aspect of the Practice. She is now a qualified physiotherapy aid and is therefore allowed to assist with various duties..

Andy Tsz Fung LAM

Andy completed his Physiotherapy degree at Sydney University in 2015. He is confident in treating different types of musculoskeletal and neurological conditions with a wide range of treatment techniques. Andy is keen to provide and educate self-management strategies and tailored home exercise program to clients, enabling them to achieve their goals: reducing pain, increasing flexibility and improving functional task performance.  
Special interests: Sport injury and post orthopaedic surgery rehabilitation.
